Cherub Choir (3 year olds to 7 year olds) Rehearse every Thursday when school is in from 6:45 – 7:15 pm. One parent is asked to attend each rehearsal. Provision of snacks is shared by parents. Choir Sings approximately once a month in worship.
Carol Choir (Grade 2 to Grade 7) Rehearse every Thursday when school is in from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Snack rotation shared by parents. Choir sings every week that school is in. Rehearsals increase as 2nd Sunday of June approaches in preparation for the annual Cantata. Choir also sings in intergenerational service for Jazz Sunday and Mardi Gras as well as Christmas Eve. Young People’s Orff Instrumental Ensemble Kathie Joblin leads an instructional session on Orff rhythm instruments before the Carol Choir rehearsal from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Youth Choir (Grade 8 through High School) Rehearses Sunday after church and sings most Sundays when school is in. Youth Choir also sings at special community events, such as Gospelfest and Gloryfest. Once every two to three years a special musical is prepared by the Youth Choir and friends. Contact Music Director: Blair Bailey 326-7351 ext. 108.
Chancel Choir Adult Choir rehearses Thursdays at 8:00 pm from September to June and shares inspirational choral music in a variety of styles at regular Sunday services, as well as in special services and presentations throughout the year. Contact: Music Director, Blair Bailey 326-7351 ext. 108.
St. Paul's House Band It is the vision of the new St. Paul's House Band to encourage the creation of original music pieces as well as performing a variety of other titles. Pieces, regardless of genre, will be about love, peace, joy, gratitude, abundance, and all that is good. The Band meets weekly on Monday evenings at 8:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Liturgical Dancers Periodically we include liturgical dance in worship. If you are interested in doing dance please call the Church office at 326-7351.
Lay Readers A lay reader is designated most Sundays to read a passage of scripture during the 10:30 am service on Sunday. Readings are available from the office on Thursday afternoon prior to the Sunday service. Please fill out a blue card and put it in the offering basket with your name and phone number or call the church office if you are interested 326-7351.
Greeters Help by greeting and assisting the congregation at Worship services and special events. Weekly, rotation basis (every months and a half or so) on Sundays from 10:00 am. Ushers Help by being a friendly, welcoming face, handing out bulletins and collecting offering during service. Lead Ushers commit to organize ushers for one month a year. Training is available. Contact the Church office if you are interested 326-7351.
Communion Servers We have 4 communions a year and if you would be interested in serving communion please contact the Church office 326-7351.
