Awakening our Common Wisdom
FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH:
DRUM CIRCLE
Playing drums, whether solo or with a group of people relieves stress, increases vitality and puts us in the transcendent state of clarity and heightened awareness, a connection of the Spirit through drumming and different percussion instruments.
The focus of our drum circle is welcoming and inclusive of all religions and cultural backgrounds; creating a safe place to experience and enjoy intuitive drumming on an individual and as a group as we drum, meditate and pray together.
SECOND WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH:
TRANSITION TOWN ORILLIA
The Transition Town movement is one of the fastest growing grassroots movements in history and we have really just begun defining what it looks like at our local level.
The focus of Transition Town Orillia is communication and interconnection to support and promote sustainable lifestyle practices leading to local resilience and a thriving community in the face of rising fossil fuel costs, climate change and global economic instability.
Our vision is that Orillia will become a community of resilience where we live in harmony with the environment and use our combined energies to create wholeness, compassion and balance.

WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH:
CIRCLE OF LIGHT
This is a return to the service we did for nine years, with meditation underscored by music, singing to centre us, anointing or some action of affirmation, ending in a circle with the candlelight around us.
Held in the Sanctuary Chancel area.
